Does aerie sizing run small?
While the latter does offer bra sizes similar to those found at Aerie, everything seemed to run too small to actually match the size on the tag. Comparing the stores’ atmospheres, Aerie seemed to appeal to — and cater to — a much larger audience than Victoria’s Secret.
Should I size up in Aerie leggings?
Aerie leggings run true to size. I ordered a small in both of these styles and they fit wonderfully. Please note that I did order a small short for the skinny pair because sometimes leggings can be a little long on me (I’m 5′ 3″ for reference).

Generally pretty true to size, but if you are a bigger-busted girl, some styles/”girls” are full coverage and some aren’t. If you go in-store the employees will help you find which styles will fit you best if you’re having issues.

Do Aerie leggings stretch out over time?
They’re a ⅞ length, so for a person of average height, they’ll likely sit above the ankles. For me, though (I’m 5’0 for reference), they fit perfectly below my ankles as a pair of full-length leggings. I don’t have to fold them up at all, and since they don’t stretch out, that just-right fit is always there.
Is Aerie leggings a pill?
When you’re washing your sports bra, bike shorts or leggings, be sure to turn them inside out first. This can reduce the outer fabric from pilling or snagging as well as ensuring the *sweatiest* parts of your pieces are cleaned thoroughly.
Can I put Aerie leggings in the dryer?
Never put them in the dryer; the warm temperature will quickly wear out the fabric and elastic. Is it Better to Hand Wash Aerie Leggings, Tights and Yoga Pants? Consider washing them by hand if you have time. It’s might not be the most convenient, but your leggings and yoga pants will last much longer.
