Can you use a trimmer for edging?
You can absolutely edge with a string trimmer. It takes some practice and it’ll never truly match the precision of a dedicated edge tool but it can be done.

Does Ryobi attachments fit Husqvarna?

Will Ryobi attachments fit Echo trimmer?
A Ryobi attachment can fit on an Echo string trimmer either by a direct fit or by using an adapter. This allows you to use other brands on your Echo trimmer, and choose trimmer heads that accept larger diameter string to cut through tougher vines or thick grasses.
Does TrimmerPlus fit Stihl?
YES – I use TrimmerPlus attachments on my Stihl KM130R. TrimmerPlus attachments have a 3/16″ square male shaft, which fit perfectly in the Stihl Kombi’s 3/16″ square female drive. The only thing that doesn’t match is the attachment has an EZ-Link Coupler button on the side, but the Stihl’s groove is on the top.
Will Craftsman attachments fit other brands?

Craftsman trimmers generally have a male 1/5-inch square driveshaft, so they accept attachments from Troy-Bilt, Ryobi and Toro. Some Remington, Sunseeker and Yardman attachments will also work with Craftsman trimmers, but you’ll need to confirm on a case-by-case basis.

I got a Ryobi Expand-It edger attachment that mates perfectly. The Expand-It attachments all have a universal connection that works with many brands including Kobalt.
Are ego and Ryobi attachments interchangeable?
Editor’s Note: Since EGO went with a spline drive, the system doesn’t mix with RYOBI Expand-It or other universal attachments currently on the market.

Does Ryobi expand-it fit GreenWorks?
GreenWorks currently does not manufacture any attachments as this unit was designed to universally fit gas attachments such as the Ryobi expand-it.
